My Miniature Story
Hi, I'm Florence!
Welcome to my shop. I have been an avid collector of dolls house miniatures since childhood. I fondly remember visiting miniature fairs and decorating my first dolls houses.
This is a joy that has never wavered and in 2020 I began making my own miniatures, firstly for my own collection. Over the last few years this has evolved from a hobby to a small shop on Etsy and Florence Felts Miniatures was born in 2022!
I love making miniatures and am often inspired by everyday items that I would like to recreate in miniature.
I work in the 1:12th scale with mixed materials but enjoy and use paintwork, textiles and woodwork the most. I really like to vary the styles of miniatures that I make but more often than not they are highly colourful! (Even if I start out with neutral intent!)
